Rules & Code of Conduct

Silence: Complete silence inside the study lounge. Audio playback without earphones is banned.

Devices: Mobile phones must be kept on silent. Attend calls strictly outside the lounge.

Safe Environment: Bullying, harassment, cyber-bullying, or tracking/staring at other members is strictly forbidden. Treat co-students with absolute respect.

Prohibitions: Smoking, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping are prohibited inside or around the premises.

Upkeep: Keep your area clean. Turn off individual desk lights and sockets after use.

Refunds & transfers: All registration and membership fees are non-refundable. Membership transfers are allowed only by the member's choice with library approval, at most once per quarter. Days received through a transfer cannot be transferred further.

Validity: Term runs from your joining date. Pay renewals before expiry to secure your seat.

Seating: Assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Sharing seats or library WiFi details is prohibited.

Shifts: Entry is strictly limited to your designated shift hours.

Outages: Facility entry may be suspended temporarily for power issues or maintenance without notice.

Network: WiFi is for education only. Inappropriate or restricted content browsing leads to termination.

Monitoring: The library reserves the right to monitor and log all network activity. Misuse may result in immediate termination and appropriate legal or administrative action.

Valuables: Management holds zero liability for loss, theft, or damage of personal laptops, cash, or books.

Damages: Financial cost will be recovered for any damage to desks, chairs, router assets, or wiring.

Surveillance: 24/7 CCTV cameras are active inside the premises for safety and evidence monitoring.

Local ID verification: For new members, if the submitted ID proof does not show a Gurgaon/Gurugram local address, the member must provide local address proof. If they do not have their own local proof, a local guardian/reference person must co-sign the application form and their ID/address proof front and back may be kept on file.

Zero Tolerance: Immediate termination of membership without refund or warning for any bullying, verbal/physical abuse, stalking, or harassment of staff or co-members. Legal action may be initiated.
